The ACT - AMS range of moulded case current transformers has been designed to be strong, robust as well as practical and easy to fit. They are manufactured with different dimensions to suit the various applications. It is vitally important to select the correct current transformer for your application because this is will affect your measurement accuracy. When choosing select the current ratio which is nearest to the current load being monitored never use a current transformer which is rated lower than the actual load and keep the current transformer as close as possible to the measuring device, long distances will effect the VA burden.
